Hi! I'm Jenna.
Currently, I am a Multimedia Producer for Tufts University and a Content Lab Video Editor for Harvard University's Department of Admissions & Financial Aid in Boston, MA. In 2018, I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a double major in Biology (BS) and media studies (BA).
My experience as a videographer and video editor is in higher education, working for institutions such as UNCG, Guilford College, Harvard University and Tufts University as part of their digital marketing teams. Taking an idea or story and turning it into a video or other digital asset is the essential duty of my job. Through tools like linear and experimental video editing, animation, motion graphics, audio mixing and even graphic design, I am able to create a final digital product.
If I had to sum up my creative process, it would be "attention to detail". Small, minute, details can make the world of difference; it is what can truly set apart a great project from a good project. Focusing on these small details, and combining it with unique creativity, truly exemplifies the work that I hope to create.
I am an experienced videographer and video editor (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia, Davinci Resolve), motion graphics designer and animator (After Effects), graphic designer and photo editor (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva), and Web Designer (Wix, WordPress, SquareSpace).
Resume available upon request.
“Stop trying. Take long walks. Look at scenery. Doze off at noon. Don't even think about flying. And then, pretty soon, you'll be flying again.”
